Steve resides in northwest Arkansas and has been an NMRA member since 2003. In that time he’s served as a Region President for two different NMRA Regions.
Steve has worked as a Project Manager for CompuCom Systems, Inc. for 17 years, managing major retail projects for several large U.S. retailers. His extensive business travel has afforded him the opportunity to visit layouts throughout the country. He enjoys operations and is an OPSIG member, as well as a member of several model railroad clubs whose emphasis is on operation. Currently he’s earned four certificates in the NMRA’s Achievement Program.
Steve has been involved in church television ministry for 15 years and teaches Small Groups for both men and singles. Steve’s interest in model railroading began 30 years ago, and today he models an HO-scale freelance railroad named the Green Meadows Railway. He’s also a Boy Scout Merit Badge volunteer.
